Lay out

The original lay-out has been modified over the years. Some boats made by Tyler have the main bulkhead moved forward so that the mast becomes placed in the main cabin. The change to the Tufglass 38 version with a bolted on keel weight does influence the lay out as well as the tankage usually will take space beneath the bunks in the cabin.
